An attorney based in Nashville, Tennessee, Blake Bars joined Thompson Burton PLLC as a partner in its Real Estate Practice Group in 2025. In this role, Blake Bars represents national real estate developers and investors, as well as regional and local developers, in new construction, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing phases. He is well-versed in the housing, hospitality, office, retail, and industrial markets, and has developed a reputation as a trusted professional capable of providing clients with valuable, actionable insights.

Blake spent his previous years as an attorney in the Real Estate Practice Group of a large national law firm. He was also a member of the firm’s Technology and Innovation Committee, guiding new ideas, structures, and technology to streamline firm operations. Before beginning his career in law, he gained experience as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael G. Gotsch, Sr., of the United States District Court, Northern District of Indiana.

Blake received his juris doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He contributed to the Notre Dame Journal of Comparative Law and held positions with the Business Law Forum and Real Estate Law Forum. He holds a political science degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
